Enjoy the best of this scary holiday with perfect weather in St. Louis. From indoor parties and haunted houses to outdoor festivals and gatherings, you can easily get the whole family involved and have the best time ever. For the most happening attractions and locations, just take a look at what we provided below:

The Lemp Mansion

Voted as one of the Top 10 for Best Haunted Hotels in a USA Today Poll in 2015, this all-star attraction is a must see. If you’re a fan of haunted tours, now’s your chance to get in on the action this October. There’ll be a ghost hunting session every Thursday for the whole month, Comedy-Mystery Dinner every weekend and a big bash on October 29 featuring plenty of food and an open bar, live bands and a costume contest.

Venue: 3322 Demenil Pl.

A Thrilling Experience

The fun you’ll be experiencing in Six Flags St.Louis is both “Thrills by Day, Chills by Night” during the annual Fright Fest. Your familiar rides are duly transformed into horrifying experiences during this period and there’s also plenty of scary performances. If you’ve always wanted to experience the largest concentration of clowns in California, now’s your chance. Bring the younger ones over during the daytime and come back with the older ones for some brain-chilling fun at night.

Venue: 4900 Six Flags Rd, Eureka.

Let’s Visit the Farm

Not everything has to be scary and frightening this month. Well, it can still be a little thrilling on a tram ride in the dark through the park. Grant’s Farm is perfect for the whole family and includes carousel rides, pumpkin decorating and themed shows. You’ll also get to enjoy lots of good food and drink so remember to show up and have the best time ever.

Venue: 10501 Gravois Rd.

Run for Your Life

Well, you’re not going to be in any danger during the annual GO! St. Louis Halloween Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Fun Run, but you’ll definitely have to do some running if you want to keep up with everyone. This is your chance to burn off some Halloween candy, so you can just go back for more. What makes this event even more fun is the appearance of runners decked out in their Halloween costumes.

Venue: 300 Hunter Ave #110.

Some Outdoor Fun

Boo at the Zoo Nights at the St. Louis Zoo is definitely an attractive family-friendly option. Starting from 18th October, the zoo keeps its doors open till later. On October 29th, there’s also the Zoo’s “Spooky Saturday” party where you’re highly encouraged to trick-or-treat along the Pumpkin Trail. If you’re looking for a tamer Halloween version to enjoy together, this is it.

Venue: 1 Government Drive.
