Can you feel the excitement building up to Easter weekend? Well, if you’re all fired up to celebrate this special moment, you should definitely stick around from late March to early April for some spectacular egg hunts, Easter brunches, arts and craft activities and plenty more fun.

If there’s one thing you definitely don’t want to be doing during this period, it’s spending your time stuck in a car while you manoeuvre large festive-going crowds and fighting to get a good parking spot. Hare in the Air @ Chesterfield

In case you were wondering about the name of this event, it’s exactly what it means: the Easter Bunny will be arriving by helicopter. This free, popular event will begin early at 9 a.m. on the campus of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 9:30 a.m. and everyone will get to participate in the egg hunt as it’s divided into different age groups. You’ll need to remember to bring your own basket and there’s also a special prize for each group.

Easter Egg-Citement and Bunny Breakfast @ Belleville

Come on over to Metro East and enjoy the biggest Easter egg hunt at Eckert’s Orchards in Belleville. There’s tons of activities for the kids to enjoy, including face painting, Easter Bunny sightings, and lots of other Easter treats. Egg hunts will commence on the hour starting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can also have join in the Breakfast with the Bunny and sink your teeth into a hearty breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny @ St. Charles

Enjoy a wonderful breakfast with the Easter Bunny in Wapelhorst Park. Not only do the kids get to dine and take pictures with the Easter Bunny, there’s also tons of arts and crafts, an egg hunt and lots of photo-taking opportunities all around. There is a $12 fee per individual, but children aged two and under get to join in for free. Do remember to register for the breakfast to enjoy the egg hunt of the day.

Easter Bunny Visits @ West County Center Shopping Mall

 Hop on over to the West County Center shopping mall to catch a glimpse and take a memorable picture with the Easter Bunny. This annual event happens on Level 1 near Macy’s, so do remember to drop by. There’s also a special pet night on March 26 where your kids will get to interact with some fluffy animal options, so this is definitely the place to visit.

Easter Eggstravaganza @ A.B. Green Athletic Complex

If the family is up for a free egg hunt, make your way down to the A.B. Green Athletic Complex located at Laclede Station Road and Dale Avenue. The cities of Maplewood and Richmond Heights will be playing host to this exciting Easter event, and there will be several egg hunts categorized by age group for the little ones to enjoy. More than 10,000 eggs will be available for the event so be sure to get there by 10 a.m. to get as many eggs as possible.
