Is your big day on its way?

When it gets down to crunch time with your wedding preparations, it’s easy to get bogged down and overwhelmed with every single detail.

The most important thing to remember during this stressful and hectic time is that your wedding is meant to be a celebration.

If the endless minutia of choosing flowers, favors, and more is getting you down, its time to jump start the celebration.

You should start looking into planning your bachelorette party.

A night out with your favorite girls is just what you need to blow off some steam before your wedding arrives.

All-in-One Parties

The best bachelorette parties are big nights out on the town, and the St. Louis area is full of fantastic destinations for bachelorette parties of every kind.

Depending on the tone you desire for your party, you can find plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants, and more that will cater to your taste. Once you find the places that you want to go, you can call up a limo service to escort you and start hitting the town.

One of the most popular destinations for bachelor and bachelorette parties alike is Laclede’s Landing. Located less than a mile north of the St. Louis Arch, The Landing is right in the heart of city and is home to some of the areas favorite bars, clubs, and restaurants. You could spend your entire evening just at the Landing alone.

There is a place on the Landing to celebrate at every stage of your evening.

Firstly, you can start off with a mellow dinner to kick off the night at The Old Spaghetti Factory or The Drunken Fish Sushi Restaurant and Lounge.

Next, to get the night started, you can stop off at Joey-B’s and sample from their extensive menu of shots for the first toast of the night.

If you like dancing, you can head over to Fusion Nightlife or to the top floor of Morgan Street Brewery. To cap off the night, you can walk just down the road to The Lumiere Place Hotel and Casino to spend the night.

A word to the wise: if you are planning on celebrating your bachelorette party at Laclede’s Landing, you might want to stay away from heels. This historic part of the city is paved in cobblestones that can make it difficult to walk in stilettos.

Discover Historic Charm

If you don’t want to end your night on The Landing, you can have your limo driver take you just a few miles south to historic Soulard. Soulard is most famous for its lively annual Mardi Gras celebration, but the nightlife scene continues all year long.

Bar 101 is a great stop for bachelorette parties, with its beergarden and three different dance floors. Also, just down the way in Lafayette Square with desserts and martinis that are to die for.

If raucous partying isn’t quite your scene, there are also plenty of places where you can your friends can go to have a quieter evening while still having a ton of fun.

You could head down to University City to hop through the bars on The Loop.

Depending on the night, you might be able to take in a live show at Blueberry Hill.

You can also smoke a round of hookah at Ranoosh or bowl a few rounds at the Pin-Up Bowl.

The Central West End is also a wonderful low-key destination with a bit of a classier feel. Popular destinations there include Sub-Zero Vodka Bar and Mandarin, a gorgeous rooftop lounge.

While you are hopping through the city on your bachelorette party, you should also ask your limo driver if there are any popular destinations that you may not have thought about.
